My Two Cents On Supporting Our Troops

I've been surfing and found an interesting blog called Honor, Duty, eMail. It's devoted entirely to encouraging people to support U.S. troops by sending them email. One post, Why Americans Should Support Our Troops, caught my attention and really made me think. I decided to put up a banner to encourage readers to join the movement and send some email support during this year's holiday season.

I'd like to add my own two cents on why we should support our troops. They're out there fighting in a war on behalf of this country. Unfortunately, since there isn't much public support for the war, they aren't getting the kind of appreciation that they deserve. They go out there and do their jobs, day in and day out, risking their lives to get them done. In most cases, they didn't have any choice about whether or not to deploy, or where they would be sent. Nonetheless they are there, enduring social deprivation and subhuman conditions to fulfill their duty. Your email could lift their spirits and brighten their dreary days.

It only takes a few minutes to register online. It's free. Snail registration is also available with a $2 donation requested to cover the cost of processing your registration. Please visit eMom and register to support our troops.
