We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and we apologize for not being able to connect with you before then. With all the rain we've been experiencing in Florida we had a bit of a flood in the office. All's well now, it was a minor issue but enough of an issue to have us drying things out for a day.
To add to the office chaos we've been experiencing some connectivity issues with our Dells. We're working on the issues with Dell but it has definately put a crimp in our response time. Speaking of responses, please be sure that you add our domain eMailOurMilitary.com to your white lists, safe lists and ensure that it's one of your approved sites to visit and receive email from. We reply to all email in the order it's received but hear too many folks telling us that they didn't receive our emails. Spam catchers are a great tool but sometimes they catch the good with the bad. Please be sure to always check your spam filters and folders to help us help you connected with our troops.
Beginning in June The Today Show will be spotlighting organizations that are helping to support our troops. We were fortunate enough to speak with the show's organizers through our various new media connections and we're pleased to announce that we'll be listed on their site as a resource.
Launching June 1st is a project we're happy to collaborate with comedian Dan Smith on called Operation Laugh. We'll have more about that for you on Monday so stay tuned!
One of the best things you can do to help eMailOurMilitary.com support our troops is to tell your friends and family about us. Invite them to join and help us support our military.
If you use social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace (to name a few) then you'll be able to find us and connect with us there as well and we encourage you to do just that. Our sidebar has a running list of where you can find us.
Finally, we've been working long and hard on a new look for our site along with a super-powered database to help you support our troops more efficiently. We're hoping to debut this very soon so stay tuned.
