Evacuees leaving before Hurricane Gustav hits the Gulf Coast, check in at the Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans Aug. 30. They will be boarding flights officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Defense have chartered to transport citizens who otherwise could not leave on their own to destinations safely outside the hurricane's path.
