29th Annual Miami Lakes Veterans Day Parade

The 29th annual Miami Lakes Veterans Day Parade is scheduled for Sunday, November 9th. CoSponored by the Miami Lakes Civic Association and the Town of Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee, this year's parade kicks off at 10 AM from the corner of Bull Run Road and Ludlam Road (N.W. 67 Avenue) across from the Miami Lakes Town Hall.

Parade chairman Jack Corssino said the parade will head south on Ludlam Road and pass the main grandstands at Main Street. The parade ends at New Barn Road and Main Street where participants will receive cold drinks and enjoy lively entertainment.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the three best decorated floats symbolizing Veterans Day and American's fighting heroes.


A children's bicycle decorating contest will be available for kids ages 5 and up. Those interested in participating may email their name, age, and parents phone number to mlcaoffice@yahoo.com.
