Moment of Silence for Fort Hood Victims Today

Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has declared a moment of silence for U.S. military forces worldwide as a show of respect of the victims of the tragedy that unfolded yesterday at Ft. Hood. The moment of silence is planned for 1:34 p.m. CST today — exactly 24 hours after the shooting. All U.S. military forces around the world are being asked to take part.

As a part of the military community, all eMOM volunteers will join in pausing to honor our brave heroes and their families at Fort Hood, and all who are serving around the world.

We kindly ask that all eMOM members do the same.
